The City of North Bend will host a storm debris collection event for City residents on Saturday, February 3, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to collect residential wood debris from recent wind and ice storm events.
Please help us fit as much debris as possible by keeping it compact! Accepted debris includes:
- Branches and limbs up to three inches in diameter, and up to three or four feet long
Debris that will NOT be accepted includes:
- Fallen trees, trunks, stumps, and pieces of wood that are larger than three or four feet long, with diameters larger than three inches
- Any other form of construction debris, garbage, or recyclables
How to participate:
- Bring accepted debris to the North Bend Public Works Department, at 1155 E North Bend Way
- Please bring your ID or a utility bill with confirmation that your property is within city limits. This special city-wide storm cleanup event is open to residents and property owners within North Bend city limits only
- Drop off up to one truck load per household. We do not have the capacity to take in multiple trucks, truck-trailer combos, or multiple trips per household.
Debris removal resources for unincorporated King County residents:
- Republic Service offers yard waste recycling for Unincorporated King County residents. Please visit their website or call (206) 682-9730 for information
- The Cedar Falls transfer station accepts yard waste as well. Be sure to review their FAQ sheet before you load up.
The intent of this program is to help residents clear debris from multiple January ice and wind storms within city limits, not land clearing or commercial disposal. Thank you to the Public Works crew and Republic Services for making this event possible!
