The 2024 North Bend Yard Waste Recycling program begins April 6. The annual recycling program is open to North Bend residents and property owners on select Saturdays, April through October, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the North Bend Public Works building, located at 1155 E North Bend Way.
Accepted yard waste items include:
- grass clippings
- leaves
- weeds
- branches and limbs up 3 inches in diameter and up to 3 feet long
The program cannot accept:
- large branches
- sod
- dirt
- rocks
- concrete
- asphalt
- wood, such as stumps
- trash
- construction debris
- manure
- plastic bags
2024 Yard Waste Recycling Program dates are as follows:

- May 4
- May 18
- June 1
- June 15
- July 13
- August 17
- September 14
- October 12
The City’s Yard Waste Recycling Program is funded by the King County Waste Reduction and Recycling Grant. Curbside yard waste collection will also be included in your Recology King County solid waste and recycling services (NOTE: Property owners within the City of North Bend will transition to Recology on April 1, 2024).
