The North Bend Downtown Foundation is excited to present the 14th annual Downtown Block Party on Saturday, July 20 from noon to 10 p.m. On Sunday, July 21, the Early Ford Club of America Car Show will host classic cars and trucks in downtown North Bend from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Downtown Block Party
Downtown Block Party is a free summer event that showcases live music and local community performances, a Kid Zone, a vendor fair, a locally sourced beer and wine garden for those at least 21 years of age, and a variety of delicious food. The festival is coordinated by the North Bend Downtown Foundation (NBDF), a nonprofit organization supporting local businesses, downtown revitalization and more.
“North Bend’s Block Party began more than a decade ago as a small festival with a few local vendors and activities. It has grown into a well-known, beloved tradition. Thanks to the support of our community, the Downtown Foundation can keep this festival fully free for everyone to enjoy,” commented Mayor Miller.
Downtown North Bend Car Show
On Sunday, July 21, the Early Ford Club of America will host classic cars and trucks along North Bend Way, between Bendigo Blvd and Ballarat Ave. The day will include music, trophies, and raffles.
“We encourage everyone to bring their families downtown, to support our local businesses and nonprofit organizations, and to showcase the pride we all share for our community,” commented Mayor Miller.
Road closures
To accommodate both events, the following street closures will occur on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21:
- Saturday, July 20, from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. on July 21: North Bend Way, between Bendigo Boulevard and Ballarat Avenue
- Saturday, July 20, from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. on July 21: Main Avenue, between McClellan Street and 107 Main Avenue North
- Sunday, July 21, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.: North Bend Way, between Bendigo Boulevard and Ballarat Avenue
- Sunday, July 21, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Main Avenue, between McClellan Street and 107 Main Avenue North
