The City of North Bend and the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe’s annual Special Recycling Event happens Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Snoqualmie Middle School (SMS), 9200 Railroad Ave SE. This year’s event also includes free giveaways with a limited number of prizes for attendees.
Load up your vehicle with accepted items (see the list and order to load by viewing the image accompanying this news release) and head to the SMS parking lot where various organizations will take those unwanted items for proper recycling. The free event is open to King County residents.
Returning this year: A clothing and household goods station will be there to collect! This program is free and accepts household materials from King County residents. All service providers at the event have the right to refuse any material they deem unacceptable.
Please do not bring any household paint, pesticides, or household chemicals. These can be disposed of at a Traveling Wastemobile July 11 through 13 at Cascade View Elementary, on Snoqualmie Ridge, from 10 to 5 p.m. each day.
