Traffic Alert: Paving Projects Scheduled May 20 Along Park Street and North Bend Way

Paving Work for Southeast North Bend Way and Park Street, 5.20.22

On Friday May 20th, paving is tentatively scheduled at two separate locations:

  • Park Street repaving is scheduled to be completed for the Cade Vu/109 Degrees project. Temporary road closures will occur on Park Street from the North Bend Way/Park Street roundabout to Healy Avenue South/Park Street intersection. Special accommodations will be made for local access, for residents who live on Park Street between those two intersections. Drivers can expect to see clearly displayed detour signage in the area.
  • Paving work is expected to wrap up along Southeast North Bend Way, from just west of the Snoqualmie Valley Trail to the newly constructed roundabout at Southeast North Bend Way and 436th Avenue Southeast. Traffic Control will be provided during this work. Drivers should expect lane closures, alternating traffic, and short delays while the westbound travel lane is being paved. City of North Bend and Unincorporated King County residents living east of 436th Avenue Southeast/Exit 32 are encouraged to utilize I-90 and 468th Avenue Southeast/Exit 34 as an alternate route to reduce construction-related delays.

Residents and businesses within the immediate project vicinity should anticipate noise and vibration during paving operations. The City apologizes for any inconveniences caused by this traffic improvement project and thanks residents for their patience and understanding.

Questions about the Cade Vu/109 Degrees or Timberstone/Dahlgren projects may be sent to Brian Tucker, at btucker@northbendwa.gov.
