About the Park

Riverfront Park is a 4.0-acre property with about 1,000 feet of frontage on the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River, located immediately across Bendigo Boulevard from the Gardiner Weeks Memorial Park. The dike along the Snoqualmie River provides a multi-use trail and includes opportunities for fishing and swimming along the property perimeters.

This protected river riparian corridor is important for all kinds of wildlife, particularly birds, and helps to maintain habitat and water quality critical to fish in the upper basin. The City, together with the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, has worked hard over the last few years to clear this forested area of invasive English ivy and English holly, improving the health of the forest for diversity and wildlife habitat.

In 2023, the City, with consultant Site Workshop, completed a conceptual master plan for Riverfront Park and for William H. Taylor Park to guide future development of improvements at each of these parks.  Future improvements consistent with these plans will occur over time upon availability of funding.
