Citizens Academy participants:
- Learn more about the City of North Bend government operations and services
- Join in dialogues with city leaders, city staff, and other civic-minded residents
- See taxpayers’ investments at work
- Learn about opportunities to become more involved in your local government
We will guide 25 participants through various aspects of city operations, including administration and city history, legal, public records and information, finance, fire, police, parks, public works, infrastructure, emergency management, and community and economic development. While sessions will be held at North Bend City Hall, look forward to parks tours, an Eastside Fire and Rescue tour and a tour of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Citizens Academy Schedule
Courses run from February through March, with a break in February during the Snoqualmie Valley School District's mid-winter break, and a recognition event in April.
